Yes, the Groove Wallet Trace is waterproof. Our internal team tested that the wallet and the tracking device can be submerged in up to 1m of water for up to 30 minutes without any issue.
How many cards does the Groove Smart Wallet Trace hold?
The Groove Smart Wallet Trace holds up to six (6) cards while maintaining a low profile, and it also comes with a detachable money clip that holds up to ten (10) folded bills. Need to carry more than 6 cards? Add a low-profile premium leather attachment that easily attaches to the back of the Groove Smart Wallet Trace for added function without bulk.
Can I use the Groove Wallet Go™ with the Groove Smart Wallet Trace?
Absolutely! In order for the Trace wallet to work properly with the leather attachment, we recommend replacing the money clip with the leather attachment on the back of the wallet.
How many people can I share my Groove Smart Wallet Trace with?
You can share with up to 5 people (6 for the total device) - let your spouse or friends be your hero and find your wallet when you can’t!
How much thicker is the Trace over the OG wallet?
The Trace is approximately ⅛ inch thicker than the OG Groove Wallet.
How long does the battery last?
The tracking card has an estimated lifespan of 2 years, and installing or replacing it in the Groove Smart Wallet Trace is straightforward.
What happens after the battery dies?
You will be able to view the battery life in the Find My app for the Groove Smart Wallet Trace, so you are aware of the current battery life. When the battery does die, it will no longer function or connect to your Find My app on your phone. Please reach out to CX@groovelife.com so we can help you. If your tracker battery fails within 120 days, we’ll send you a replacement free of charge. After that, it’s only $10! We’ve got you covered.
Does the Groove Smart Wallet Trace require charging?
