I read numerous statements to size down. I don't see it this way. The size smaller than my usual ring size was way too small. Like cutting off circulation too small. Round two and so far so good. I am able to wear the ring comfortably playing guitar, riding my bicycle, doing yard work, lifting weights, etc. I would suggest you buy your standard metal ring size is my advice.
