Sizing & Fit
Is the belt "one size fits all," or do I need to order my exact waist size?
The ultra is not one size fits all here are the sizing specs to help guide you in your purchase.
Pant size 29–31 → Size XS (Waist 23”–27”)
Pant size 30–32 → Size S (Waist 28”–32”)
Pant size 33–34 → Size M (Waist 33”–36”)
Pant size 35–36 → Size M (Waist 33”–36”)
Pant size 37–38 → Size L (Waist 37”–40”)
Do I have to cut the belt to make it fit?
Not to make it fit, but if you have excess webbing then yes you can trim the belt. Here is a field guide to do this!
Does the excess belt "tail" hang out or tuck away?
Who wants that icky flap? Not us! The excess tucks neatly away like all our belts, all out belts come with keeper loops for a great fit!
If I am between sizes or lose weight, is the belt easy to resize?

What is the main difference between the Original Groove Belt and the Ultra?
Ultra Lightweight: about 50% lighter than our OG style. You'll forget you're even wearing it. It's like a gentle hug for your waist! Thin webbing with a curved polymer buckle, washable. Travel friendly.
Is the belt buckle nickel-free?
There is a trace amount of nickel in the buckle, it contains 0.5% or less of nickel
Does the buckle make a satisfying "click" when it connects?
You like that click, huh! We got you, this has that ASMR click we all love!
Is this belt stylish enough for formal wear or suits?
The ultra belt can easily go from the airplane to the conference room.
How much stretch does the webbing actually have?
Just enough to be comfy!
Usage & Functionality
Can I wear this belt through airport security (TSA) without taking it off? What does “TSA Friendly” mean?
You sure can! It means your belt won’t set off alarms or make TSA ask you to awkwardly remove your pants in public. You walk through security. Dignity intact. 😄✈️
Is the belt comfortable for long periods of sitting, such as on a 10-hour flight or long car ride?
You won’t even know you are wearing it, that’s how “ultra” light it is!
Is the belt strong enough to hold a concealed carry holster (CCW)? Should I size up for EDC/ Concealed Carry?
The Ultra belt is not designed for EDC.
Is the more narrow webbing strong enough to be worn comfortably under a heavy backpack waist strap?

Will the magnetic buckle interfere with other electronic devices?

Does the belt stay tight, or does it loosen up throughout the day?
Set it and forget it but if this does happen please utilize the Groove Guarantee warranty that we offer.
Is the magnetic buckle secure enough for high-movement jobs like construction?
The strongest man made magnets are used on our belts. Worksite tough!
Is the belt buckle non-marring (safe to wear around car paint or delicate surfaces)?
The buckle is made out of polymer blend of materials but like anything test in an area that won't be seen first.

We have not heard of this happening! The ultra fits basically all pant styles even the kiddos pants!
Is the belt difficult to adjust for someone with arthritis or limited hand strength?
No, adjusting the belt is pretty simple, just follow along with this Field Guide!
Why is there a "locking bar" on the buckle, and how does it work?
