Yes, they are subject to setting off metal detectors and are not TSA approved. Metal detectors in airports use magnetism to detect metal. While aluminum is non-ferrous and harder to detect, each machine has different sensitivity levels. Depending on the calibration, you may or may not set off the metal detector. We advise you to remove your belt and wallet before going through the metal detector.

Match the belt size to your pant size. If you're at the high end or on the cusp of a size, we recommend sticking with the smaller size.
